Key Personnel

Steve joined Holland Power Services in October of 2023 and currently oversees all of Holland’s interests and objectives in storm response and blue sky. Steve brings over 30 years of leadership experience to HPS. Prior to joining Holland, Steve served in a variety of executive roles in private industry. He is retired from the Canadian Armed Forces where he spent 23 years as an Engineer, engaged in domestic and international aid to civil power, NATO exchanges and peacekeeping, and interdictory deployments in a variety of areas.

Steve is a people focused leader who truly enjoys engaging with the personnel at HPS in the field and across the divisions. Learning from the team, spending time in the field during storm response, and empowering the work force at all levels make Steve’s role at Holland an amazing experience.

Jonathan Dobson joined Holland Power Services in November of 2023 after spending 20 years in the utility industry working for New Brunswick Power in various financial and strategic roles. Prior to NB Power, Jonathan obtained his CA designation while working in the New Brunswick office of the EY accounting firm.

At Holland Power Services, Jonathan looks after the corporate services side of the business. Together with his amazing team, he oversees a variety of functions such as payroll, HR, finance, billing, storm administration, IT, and other various areas.  

Jonathan enjoys the challenges and variety of work that each day brings at Holland Power Services and is excited to be a part of the future growth and success of his team and the organization as a whole.

Dino Nicoletto joined Holland Power Services in August 2022 after a 35-year career with Ontario Hydro and Hydro One where he gained his powerline expertise in both blue-sky and grey-sky work. At Holland Power Services Dino has built a strong and capable team in the greater Niagara area. He recently assisted with the design and build of the new Fort Erie Division headquarters. Dino has a passion for building relationships, and mentoring new apprentices while giving them the opportunity to gain experience in the line trade through storm restoration efforts.

Kent Trolley joined HPS in June 2022. Kent started at the grassroots of linework and retired after a 30+ year career at Hydro One / Ontario Hydro. When Kent had the opportunity to join Holland, he was excited to join a team with people that he had started this journey with 35 years ago. He sees it as a great way to give back to the industry.

As a General Manager at HPS, Kent does his best to ensure our Lineman, Mechanics, Logistics staff and Fleet are ready for the next activation. Kent believes this is the best job that he could have transitioned into and he is very proud of the people and the work we do with Holland Power Services.

Simon Robichaud started his career with Holland Power Services in 2017 while responding to power outages in Florida caused by Hurricane Irma. With a background as a distribution, transmission, telecommunications, and underground lineman, Simon has cultivated a strong foundation in the utility sector. His managerial experience includes roles as a lead lineman and foreman, where he developed skills in team coordination and project oversight. As the Director of Operations at Holland Power Services, Simon brings more than 20 years of experience in the utility sector, specializing in emergency restoration of distribution networks. His role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety standards, and implementing efficient processes to deliver reliable services to our clients. Simon takes great pride in his role at Holland Power Services, where he thrives on the opportunity to lead dedicated teams in delivering reliable solutions and making a positive impact on our communities through quality service and innovative practices.

Based in Ellsworth, Maine, Scott joined the HPS team after a 34-year career with public utilities working in construction, maintenance, and leading storm restoration teams. Scott had the opportunity to support utilities from Canada to the Grand Bahamas in the course of his career as a team leader and lineman. In 2018 he joined the company as General Manager of Holland New England.

Kaylea joined the Holland Power Services team in December of 2020 and works out of the corporate office in Hanwell, New Brunswick. Prior to joining HPS, Kaylea provided administrative support through several roles/departments to various companies in the oil and gas industry. Kaylea’s role at HPS is to manage all administrative aspects for storm response. During blue-sky, Kaylea manages storm contracts and billing. What Kaylea enjoys most about her role at HPS is that no two days are ever the same!

Kevin Guimond joined Holland Power Services in June 2022 after spending 7 years as a Manager of Emergency Preparedness at Avangrid / Central Maine Power. Prior to working at Avangrid, Kevin worked 28 years in the South Portland Maine Fire Department finishing his career serving as the Fire Chief / EMA Director / Homeland Security Director. 

Based in Portland, Maine, Kevin’s role on the HPS Utility Relations team allows him to develop and maintain relationships with our utility customers and manage deployments with our Area Command Team. Working at Holland Power Services has allowed Kevin to continue to be involved with his passion of being part of an exceptional Emergency Response Team.

With over 25 years of experience in finance, payroll, and office administration across both private and non-profit sectors, Shannon joined Holland Power Services in January 2019. In her current role, Shannon leads a team dedicated to efficient payroll processing and the coordination of storm response personnel across the company, while supporting all aspects of emergency activations. Shannon enjoys that no two days are the same and values the opportunities to connect with our storm workforce while contributing to the growth of our operations.

Bridget joined Holland Power Services in May 2024, bringing over 23 years of diverse HR experience from both the private and public sectors, most recently in HR Operations for Irving Oil Ltd and Alcohol NB Liquor.

At Holland Power Services, Bridget Barteaux serves as the Human Resources Director, overseeing all corporate HR functions. In this role, she develops and implements strategic HR initiatives that align with organizational goals, focusing on talent management, employee relations, training and development, community engagement and compliance to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Bridget enjoys this role because it allows her to make a meaningful impact by fostering strong relationships and creating a positive, safe workplace culture, which ultimately contributes to the success of both our employees and the organization.

Nick joined Holland Power Services in August 2020 as Director of Safety after retiring from AVANGRID-Central Maine Power Company. Nick has 40 years of experience in the industry with a background in Safety, Training, Work Methods, and Storm Restoration. Based in Topsham, Maine, Nick provides Safety Leadership during Storm Restoration events and plays a key role in overseeing and expanding Holland Power Services safety programs and procedures. Nick enjoys the Team environment at Holland Power Services.

Rob Carey joined Holland Power Services in October of 2022. With over 25 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces as a RCEME maintainer, he brings a vast breadth of technical and operational experience. Rob is responsible for the operational readiness of the vast fleet of vehicles and equipment, ensuring quality deliverables to our Canadian and US clients. Rob values and maintains a productive work environment with divisional mechanics, solving complex issues to maintain a high level of fleet serviceability.
